SPECIAL, ULTRA-TOUGH PROTECTION BUILT FOR SPECIAL OPS.
“These Things We Do, That Others May Live.” The motto of the U.S. Air Force Pararescue team is inspiring, bold and not to be taken lightly. Built per the specs of this elite unit, the new Engineer Hydrocarbon Airborne II is rugged and ready with 1mm high micro gas tubes, our robust SpringLOCK system and our ultra-tough patented buckle.
Limited to 1,000 pieces, the Airborne II is now available at an exclusive pre-order price starting from USD 1,699* until 15 November 2017.
The Airborne II is built to conquer the night. The new model features 1mm high micro gas tubes for even brighter luminosity than its predecessor. In total, 24 tubes illuminate the hour markers for extreme readability. For added luminescence, the minute track and rotating bezel feature Super-LumiNova.
A FANATICAL APPROACH TO MECHANICAL PERFORMANCE.
Upon sudden and harsh impact, a watch’s hairspring can easily twist. Our SpringLOCK® anti-shock system employs a cage that limits the unfurling of the coils in case of any external impacts and decreases the risk of breakage to the link between the balance spring and the balance. The SpringLOCK® reduces the balance spring’s shock impact by 66% and ensures complete functionality in extreme conditions.
OUR INNOVATION IS YOUR INVITATION TO EXPLORE.
While the SpringLOCK safeguards the inside, our special crown protection system secures the watch’s most vulnerable part. A protective plate covers the crown to ensure it has been screwed-in to its original position. Around the wrist, our patented folding buckle withstands up to 1,400 newtons of force, while also delivering ultimate wearing comfort.
ALWAYS READY, ALWAYS RUGGED.
Highly developed skills, unstoppable courage and the ability to jump out of a plane at any moment. These are just some of the characteristics that members of the about U.S. Air Force Pararescue team must exhibit every day. The Airborne II is engineered to accompany dangerous, yet rewarding expeditions worldwide.
A UNITY OF PERFORMANCE AND PRESTIGE.
A COSC-certified chronometer, the Airborne II is available in stainless steel with black and blue dials. The 42mm case is as beautiful as it is rugged, while the case back features the striking logo of the U.S. Air Force Pararescue team. Its ceramic rotating bezel, coated with Super-LumiNova, provides tactical functionality.
